Meet Chuck

Early on, Chuck has always enjoyed music and playing piano for church, events, and weddings. He had the privilege of studying piano performance from Assistant Professor of Music, Nancy Lease, at Clarke University in Dubuque, IA. Chuck started teaching piano in 2004 in Maquoketa, 2008 in Iowa City, and 2015 in the Solon area.

In 2017 and 2019, Chuck and his wife, Alicia, recorded their first two Nashville albums incorporating new compositions of old hymns and poems that can be found on various streaming networks. As the Director of Music at St. Mary, Chuck and Alicia took a group of 55 musicians to Italy and Rome in 2019, performing at masses, at churches, and other venues the music they composed together, as well as other artists’ work.

As a child, Chuck grew up surrounded by family-owned businesses from his father, Cary’s, flower shops to his grandfather, Glen’s lumber yards. Chuck has always had an eye for business and graduated from Upper Iowa University, Summa Cum Laude Class of 2015 with degrees in business and finance.

You can find Chuck playing piano after he delivers a piano with the utmost care around the Iowa area, or across the country. He thoroughly enjoys bringing quality instruments to family’s homes in the hopes to continue spreading music.
