Andrew grew up in the greater Des Moines area and started his musical journey with the piano at the age of 7. He has worked with numerous instruments including the cello, trumpet, drums and harmonica, but his favorite ended up being the guitar.
He has more than 2 decades experience with the guitar and is excited to share his knowledge/passion for music through teaching. He strives to make lessons approachable, encouraging, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence, develop their skills, and discover the joy of making music.
A father of six and happily married, Andrew values family time. He enjoys spending time with his children, gardening and making music.
Whether a student is picking up a guitar for the first time or looking to grow as a musician, Andrew hopes to help them develop skills that will stay with them for years to come.
