Which Photos to Take
Good photos help us give you an accurate answer faster. Use daylight if you can, skip the flash, and step back far enough to fit the whole piano in the frame.
- Full front view with the lid closed
- The keys with the key cover open
- Serial number – lift the lid and look on the metal plate, usually near the tuning pins
- Both sides and the back of the cabinet
- Pedals and legs
- Close-ups of any damage – cracks, chips, water marks, or sticky keys
