Cary graduated from the University of Iowa in 1979 with a BBA in Business & Finance and a Minor in Music. Cary returned to school earning a master’s degree in Theology. He began lessons at a young age and music involvement in church by age 8. He has continued his musical journey in church, while working with Hospice patients, through sharing his talents as a teacher for youngsters through adult students, playing/singing with choral groups, weddings and funerals.
He had the privilege of playing for mass in the Vatican as the accompanist for the Solon St. Mary’s choir tour group. He has been playing and teaching piano as well as organ for over 58 years. In the most recent years, he has added guitar to his teaching repertoire. Cary is an accomplished musician sharing his passion and love of music in person and remotely.
Cary is also one of our Brock Family team members who moves pianos and other tasks to bring musical instrumentation to those on their musical journey.
